Corneal transplants are the most common and successful type of transplant surgery. At Spinak Medical Eye Center, we can replace a swollen or damaged cornea with a clear donor cornea and improve your vision.

How does a cornea get damaged?
Sometimes a cornea is damaged due to trauma or infection.
Keratoconus is a degenerative condition where the cornea becomes misshaped and thin.
Inherited corneal conditions such as Fuchs’ dystrophy or lattice dystrophy may be present.
