The eye surgeons at Spinak Medical Eye Center will discuss with you various LASIK® alternatives including:
Visian Implant
Corrective lens implanted inside the eye. Sometimes the Visian implant is referred to as an implantable contact lens.
No maintenance or regular cleaning is required.
PRK (photorefractive keratectomy)
Improves the eye’s natural focus.
Procedure involves removing a layer of epithelial cells and then shapes the surface of the cornea. In a PRK procedure, the outer cells grow back in a few days.
Premium Lenses
Implantable lens that reduces presbyopia and astigmatism.
Glasses may still be needed.
Available to patients with and without cataracts.
