Orthoptist Joyce Santana Creates Individualized Treatment Plans

Joyce has over 30 years experience practicing orthoptics. She works with patients who are referred by their Ophthalmologist.  These patients experience double vision, amblyopia (lazy eye), or eye strain symptoms. Patients are evaluated and treatment plans are made to alleviate symptoms which may incorporate:

• prisms

• exercises

• patching

• eyeglasses
  

All treatment is individualized and followed with the Orthoptist and eye doctor.  Pre- and post-operative evaluations and treatment are available when necessary.
